Photo Guidelines for Custom Designs

We can create custom designs featuring any pet — dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, horses, even humans (yes, we’ve done baby portraits too!). 

Want to include multiple pets? No problem! We can merge pets from different photos into one perfect moment. While two pets is our sweet spot, you can upload up to 5 files — our artists will pick the best one(s) if you’re unsure.

To help us create the best artwork possible, please follow these simple tips:

•  Take the photo at eye level with your pet
•  Have them face the camera, looking straight ahead
•  Use natural daylight (outdoors or near a window works best)
•  Make it a close-up — clear face and unique features visible
•  Avoid blurry, dark, or backlit images
•  Keep the ears in the frame — no cropping
•  Neck and face should be visible (not lying down)

 Note: We use the exact photo you upload — we only adjust it to fit the chosen art style. We don’t retouch or replace the original image.

If your photo doesn’t meet the guidelines, don’t worry — we’ll contact you by email to request a replacement. Please respond within 2 business days, or we’ll cancel the order and issue a full refund.
